ALL Voluntaryist Suit Saga One campaign perks have been shipped out!
Virtually everyone should have received their perks by the time of this update as all perks were shipped out 2 weeks ago, the week of April 15th.
If you did not receive your perk package, PLEASE do not hesitate to reach out to us at mr.voluntary(at)gmail(dot)com
We want EVERYONE to get their perks, so we will track down what happened right away and send you a replacement if your package was lost in transit.
That said, we know TONS of people did receive their perk packages already because we’ve been getting tagged non-stop with people showing off their goodies!
Thank YOU for sharing the Voluntaryist love and letting us share in it as well.
Please do tag us on Twitter/X at @jackvlloyd or on Facebook if you do show off your perk pack.
It feels great to see the arrival and join in celebration!
Speaking of celebrating, we want to continue thanking our comic book sponsors each month as we update you on the launch of the sequel, Suit Saga II.
We want to thank TUTTLE TWINS for their generous support on our Suit Saga One campaign.
Connor Boyak and Elijah Stanfield released a new book that is for a more mature teen+ audience: Tuttle Twins and the Days of Darkness!
This choose-your-own adventure story is an apocalyptic scenario where your choices can have DIRE, GRAPHIC, consequences.
The choose-your-own adventure style makes for a thrilling read with the more serious tone and dangerous conflicts presented.
You can get your own copy of this book over at:
and the entire set of Tuttle Twins’ choose-your-own adventure books at:
(affiliate)
After you check out Tuttle Twins, make sure you stay up-to-date by staying subscribed to our newsletter.
We will continue to tease the sequel, Suit Saga 2, while we promote the rest of our Suit Saga One advertisers.
You won’t want to miss out!
We will announce our estimated Suit Saga 2 launch in a future update, but it is likely to be out by late summer/early fall this year.
SO, GET PUMPED!
Thank you so much again, everyone, for your generous support on this comic campaign.
We could not have achieved all we did if it had not been for you believing in us!
If you need extra help, or if there is an issue in trying to update, please reach out to me directly at mr.voluntary(at)gmail(dot)com and I will make sure your address is squared away for fulfillment if you contact me this week.
In the meantime, I would like to continue our special thanks to our generous ad sponsors, sponsors you should bookmark and check out as their work helped us take this issue to the next level!
We’ve raised nearly a third of goal, and we have a few weeks left to go.
It would mean the world to us if you jumped in, even at the $5 level, just so we can show you all the cool behind-the-scenes we’ll be doing with this music video shoot.
We’ll be in the heart of Washington D.C. shooting this one, so it’s going to be a fun time railing against the Federal inflation to their faces.
Our other note is that we’re hosting our first-ever comic book store tabling event!
We were fortunate enough to be invited to do a comic book store tabling at Wonder Water Sports Cards Comics & Games in Clearwater, Florida on Saturday, April 13th.
If you are close enough to the area, come on by and say, “Hi!” We’ll be signing and selling comics, shooting photos, and having conversations with whoever wants to learn more about Voluntaryist.
If you cannot make it, but know friends who might, feel free to share the event with them too!
The address is:
Wonder Water Sports Cards Comics & Games
29113 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33761
And we’ll be there from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. that Saturday April 13th.
Thank you so much again, everyone, for your continued support!
Excited to tell you more about fulfillment in our next update.
Hope you are doing well as we kick off the month of March!
I have WONDERFUL news to share with you.
We’ve already gotten in all the printed comics back from the printer.
This is the fastest we’ve ever turned around print comics on a campaign, so I am impressed at how far we’ve come on production speed!
That said, we also have another first because of this – it’s the first time we’re still having to wrap the bonus perk items because we did so well on the campaign!
We’re moving as fast as we can to finalize the last couple of bonus prints so we can get all of those to the printer.
Once those wrap, then we’ll be good-to-go on putting the perk packages together and shipping them out.
In the meantime, I’m just over here reeling with excitement, looking over the comic stacks as they all came out SO beautifully.
Truly, art to treasure.
Speaking of art to treasure, I wanted to thank some more sponsors whose art is worthy of praise!
The alternative rock group, Wonderbad, sounds like the spirit of Nirvana reimagined for the modern age.
If you’ve ever had a thing for Seattle Grunge, or just like the aesthetic of solid rock music generally, THIS IS A BAND TO PEEP.
I am not exaggerating when I say they sound like Kurt Cobain resurrected.
What’s even more intriguing is that this band’s lead singer is none other than the son of the Tuttle Twins!
Well, not literally of the fictional characters, but of the co-creator/illustrator Elijah Stanfield.
Wild, I know.
So not only is the Wonderbad team incredibly talented, the lead singer is the progeny of the legendary Tuttle Twins artist himself!
Even more reason to check them out and see the family’s talents in action.
P.S. We’re going to be launching our next music video campaign in the coming month. If you want to be notified of when it goes live, check out the pre-launch page over at: https://igg.me/at/endthefed and buckle up for what’s going to be an INCREDIBLE music video inspiring others to END THE FED.
Hope you are doing well as we kick off February, 2024!
Voluntaryist Suit Saga One has been moving along PERFECTLY.
Our funds were disbursed on time.
We got rolling right away on the bonus perks.
The interior pages have ALL been finished, and we’ve just sent them off to the printers!
Here’s a little sneak peek of page one’s pencil work:
And a sneak peek of a new character from the bonus perks, FIAT FERRET:
It all looks great, and it feels GREAT!
That said, I just want to remind you that if you know you will be moving in the coming months, please do update your shipping address on the campaign so we can make sure you get your perk package.
If need to contact me about it, you can also do that by reaching me at mr.voluntary(at)gmail.com
I want to make sure that you get your perks so all goes as smoothly as possible.
Now, one of the best parts of doing this comic series is getting to see the advertisements.
We have quite the lineup this round, and I want you to check out a new sponsor each update so you can enjoy all the unique Voluntaryist-oriented products, services, and artists we host in this special indie space!
Up first is a search engine created by a Voluntaryist man named Colin Pape: Presearch!
Presearch is incredible because it not only protects your privacy, defends your freedom, and earns you cryptocurrency rewards, but it also gives you the option to check other search engine results as well with one-click buttons should you ever not be satisfied.
That’s just how much they stand behind their product!
And it works quite well. I’ve used Presearch and have found their search engine preferable to more statist alternatives like DuckDuckGo.
So, if you’ve been looking for a search engine that’s not a part of the big tech censorship regime, give Preseach a try today at:
Remember that Origins floppies were not available on the Suit Saga One campaign, so it’s a great idea to pick them up and complete your Voluntaryist collection!
Voluntaryist Suit Saga One has closed with RECORD-BREAKING success.
I am FLOORED that we managed to unlock EVERY SINGLE LISTED STRETCH GOAL before close.
This is the most successful Voluntaryist single-issue comic campaign of ALL TIME with our reaching 220% of goal!
And, with record-breaking success, comes RECORD-BREAKING BONUSES.
Thanks to your generous support, each backer at the print comic tier and higher will be receiving 6 bonus perks in addition to your print perk pack.
This includes:
A bonus character turn sheet of a new Voluntaryist character, Leebertas.
A bonus character turn sheet of a new Statist character, Fiat Ferret.
A bonus die cut sticker of a new Voluntaryist character, Replevin.
A new Voluntaryist team art print.
A new Statist team art print.
A cover artwork teasing my new standalone series, Voluncap One Shot, the girl with the black and yellow costume and No Step on Snek tee you’ve seen Pho cosplay as.
As you can see, it’s going to be a STUFFED perk pack!
It’s my honor and pleasure to be a part of this Voluntaryist universe expansion process and I cannot wait to show you the results!
Now that the campaign has ended, we need to go over the production process timeline so you know what to expect and what you need to do, if anything.
First and foremost, if you will be moving in the next few months, you can update your address on the campaign, and I will receive that update so long as it’s updated a week before we do shipment.
Follow the instructions here if you end up needing to update your shipping address:
Second, if you’re an ADVERTISEMENT BACKER, please make sure that you get me your advertisement content by or before January 31st, 2024.
I sent out advertisement specs, templates, and information by email, and it looks like everything should be good-to-go otherwise for advertisers. If you have any questions or concerns lingering, feel free to reach me at mr.voluntary(at)gmail(dot)com.
As far as the production process is concerned, here’s what we’re currently looking at:
Indiegogo needs to release the funds for us to move forward. They can take up to 15 business days, but we’ve seen them typically process within 7.
Once we get those funds cleared, we’ll be able to work on getting our merchandise purchased and any bonus art items finalized.
We’re currently ahead of schedule on the comic’s production, so we should be able to move much faster than we have before. Most of what’s left is creating the bonus perks and getting them printed and shipped to us along with the comic merchandise and extras.
It will probably take 4-5 months to wrap up all of this if all goes well. I anticipate it should, so I imagine that we will be able to fulfill everything FAR AHEAD of our campaign estimated delivery date of December, 2024. If we’re agile, you’ll have everything by the end of spring, beginning of summer at the latest.
We will be making a monthly update on Indiegogo about our progress, so please make sure to check back at https://igg.me/at/suitsaga to see where we’re at in the process.
I will also post progress updates in parallel on the Voluntaryist Website here.
I try my best to be as responsive as possible to all questions, so if you have any questions or concerns, please always feel free to reach out to me at mr.voluntary(at)gmail(dot)com.
I’m looking forward to more good things as well, including some AMAZING projects we have coming up in 2024. So, stay tuned as we launch even more creative works next year!
Also, if you have not done so yet, check out the Voluntaryist Origins single issue remastered editions on Indyplanet.com. The single issues were not a part of this campaign, only the trade paperback. So, if you want to round out your Voluntaryist collection with those, you CAN with print-on-demand service at: https://www.indyplanet.com/?s=voluntaryist
Wishing you and yours peace and prosperity into this new year!
Hope you are doing well as we kick off this AWESOME month of AUGUST!
Why is it so awesome you may ask?
It’s SO AWESOME because all artwork for the remaster HAS BEEN COMPLETED!
We’ve finished the Origins I and II cover remasters and all interior sequential inks, colors, and letters!
Check out a little sneak peek from that progress here:
At the time of this writing, we’re conducting a final review of the pages, then sending the Origins comic digitals off to the printers!
WOOHOO!
It’s been an incredible year of working on this with 6 new comic covers and 112 new comic book pages produced! (Not to forget all the art prints made as well!)
With our final days before last fulfillment closing in, please be sure to update your address if you have already moved or will be moving come September, 2023.
Thank you to those who updated on Indiegogo already – your updates have been accounted for.
If you still need to update, learn how to do so by reading the Indiegogo page here:
In other great news, we just finished up our Break the Great Reset music video shoot in downtown Tampa! If you backed that campaign, you got a behind-the-scenes teaser e-mailed to you. We had a blast filming and cannot wait to share the music video with you once it’s out.
If you’re looking for some excitement in the meantime, be sure to check out our next event with Lou Perez!
Lou is coming to Florida to host a comedy show at the gun range! There are 3 separately ticketed events: The comedy show itself with a Lou photo opportunity. A range time on the pistol range with Lou. And, a VIP mixer after the range time. Both Pho and I will be there along with some other great friends, so consider joining us for an intimate night of laughs, loading, and lounging.
And, even if you cannot make it, but would like to sponsor the event, you certainly can with our ad sponsor option. Sponsors get a special “thank you” to our audience and their merchandise/flyer/business card given to ticket purchasers (as provided by sponsor).
It’s a great way to showcase your business to those who love liberty and want to support liberty-friendly businesses.
Thank you so much again everyone for staying up-to-date with Voluntaryist on this longer project window!
I cannot wait to show you what we’ve achieved together.
I also want to mention that I have a sequel title to my first nonfiction book coming out soon, A Vision for a Libertarian Future. It’s a practical policy advocacy of incrementalism for moving away from state control.
If you haven’t read my first book, be sure to pick that up on Amazon here: amzn.to/3RD6pPA
(affiliate)
so you’re ready for the next edition!
Looking forward to updating you on our next developments!
Hope you are doing well as we kick off the month of March.
We are marching right along schedule with the Voluntaryist remaster production!
The colors have just been wrapped on Origins I and we’ve already gotten in a few penciled pages for Origins II.
Here’s a little sneak peek from that progress:
I wanted to take a moment and thank Presearch for being a continued sponsor of Voluntaryist!
Presearch is a voluntaryist-owned search engine company worth checking out.
Not only do they provide a censorship-free search engine service that is privacy-oriented, but they have integrated ways for you to earn cryptocurrency rewards in the process!
They even do users a favor by listing one-click alternative search engine tabs so that, if for any reason you’re not satisfied with their results, you can immediately check the results in several other search engines.
Speaking of great things to check out, I will be headlining the Libertarian Party of Washington conference from March 24th-26th! Both Pho and I will be there as special guests with a special mixer taking place Friday night. It’s rare that we get over to that side of the country, so if you’re close enough to visit, consider coming on by to hang! We’d love to catch up with you.
Location, details, and tickets can be found on Eventbrite over at:
Hope you are doing well as we kick off the month of February.
It’s a relatively quiet time as we’re just moving along steadily with the Voluntaryist remasters. We’re about wrapped on the pencils for the Origins I remaster and are about to begin working on the pencils for Origins II.
The covers for Origins III, IV, and V have been making good progress with approvals having been completed on the layouts and pencils. Check out some of those cover progression sneak peeks here:
I figure now is a good a time as any to give you a heads-up on the other projects we’re working toward this year, especially, since we’ve fully wrapped up the ANTISTATE music video project.
Pho will be recording another anthem-styled song I wrote that’s tangential to the Mask Order and Disobey tracks. The title and subject is still under wraps, but we think you’re going to find the message inspiring and timely! So be sure to look out for when we release that new song, the album art, and its Indiegogo campaign for making our next music video. It’s going to be a project you’ll want to see succeed!
Pho and I also have exciting news to share as we will be some of the featured special guests at the Libertarian Party of Washington’s annual conference! While the details are not all settled yet, we can tell you that we will be at the conference’s activities from Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. The convention will be taking place at Sammamish Valley Grange in Woodinville, Washington. More details will eventually be released on the LPWA Website at: https://lpwa.org/ and we will also let you know more as everything is finalized in next month’s Voluntaryist update. It would be awesome to see you there, so if you’re close enough for a visit, come on out!
We will also be general attendees at PorcFest XX in New Hampshire. We’ve always wanted to visit this legendary liberty meetup, so we figured what better time to do it than for the big 20th anniversary! Tickets and details for that event can be found at https://porcfest.com/ if you’re thinking about going too.
And lastly, we’d like to thank our sponsor Agorist Nexus for their longtime Voluntaryist support! Agorist Nexus is a great resource for thinking outside the state as they showcase off-grid living tactics, cryptocurrency reviews and suggestions, and host an Agorist business listing directory.
Fun Agorist Nexus fact: We also recorded a funky promotional song for them a few years back. You can give it a listen on YouTube here:
and get a sense of what they’re all about.
Looking forward to updating you next month with more details on the Voluntaryist comic and on our other projects and excursions!
Stay awesome,
J ( :
P.S. If you made it this far, I have a bonus sneak peek for you. I am currently working on my AnCap Comix publishing and publicity site at: https://ancapcomix.com/
It’s going to be a site featuring liberty-oriented creators in the comic, graphic novel, and fictional novel space, as well as the umbrella identity for the Voluntaryist comic universe. (You may have already noticed this brand on the bottom right corners of the Voluntaryist Origins comic books.) In addition, I’m building a mentorship community to help you if you’re trying to create your own work of fiction in the comic book or printed novel genre. This is a soft-launch sneak peek, so be sure to check out all the pages on the Website and subscribe to the newsletter if you’d like to hear more when we formally launch!
And what’s great about kicking off this new year is that I have received the print copies of Voluntaryist Origins VI!
Boy, do they look BEAUTIFUL!
Many of you have even already received your print copy if your perk was at the game card tier or lower.
Print comic perks at the game card level and below were mailed out on December 19th. If you have not received your print comic yet, please message me at mr.voluntary(at)gmail.com and I will see if your order was lost in the mail and replace it if so. (If you’re an international backer, it may still take another week or 2 with all the holiday busyness.)
As for the rest of the perks at the Art Tier print level and higher, those are still pending as we’re working through the Origins I and II remasters, the I-V cover remasters, and the final art print.
We are doing great schedule-wise as the promised delivery date is December, 2023. (That’s right – in case you forgot – getting the digital copy of Origins VI and the early print shipments are 1 FULL year ahead of promised delivery date. I hope you’re as impressed as I am!)
We are moving as fast as we can to deliver the rest of the perks well-ahead of the promised date, especially so, because we want to be able to launch the next Voluntaryist Arc campaign, SUIT SAGA, in 2023. And we won’t do that until ALL perks on this Origins VI campaign have been shipped.
To give you a sense of where we’re at, at the time of this writing we’ve:
Completed and have in our hands the Origins VI print comics.
Completed and have in our hands all perk accessories except the $75 tier art print.
Shipped out all perks at the Game Card tier and below.
Penciled 39 pages of the Origins I remaster.
Colored 32 pages of the Origins I remaster.
Lettered 32 pages of the Origins I remaster. (that’s me)
Got the Origins III, IV, and V comic remasters in production.
PRETTY impressive considering that we normally only have a single comic issue each year of about 24 pages. By summer 2023, we will have completed in 1 year what amounts to 4 comic book creations in total page counts. A record feat!
Stay tuned for when we do our next batch of perk fulfillments as we increment toward total project completion.
And speaking of completion, we would not have been able to achieve as much as we did if not for our ROCKSTAR executive advertisement sponsor, Victoria King.
Victoria has been an early believer in Voluntaryist and our other projects, and wanted to see the Origins Remaster and trade paperback come to fruition – so she went the extra mile on this campaign.
She wants you to check out her book Dear Younger Me, Victim To Victor: A Memoir, as it’s her life’s memoir about overcoming an abusive relationship. She wrote it to help inspire others and bring them healing.
If you’re looking for something unique to help challenge your thinking on relationships, pick up a copy of her book here:
in special thanks to her for helping this campaign reach goal in record time!
Thank you Victoria, and everyone else here, for your generous support and social media shoutouts! It makes me feel good to see you get your perks in the mail.
And on that note of feeling good–
My and The Pholosopher’s ANTISTATE music video is now live!
This is one of the COOLEST music videos we’ve created, so be sure to check it out, subscribe, and share it around as we continue to shift the culture toward a true respect of Voluntaryist virtues!
Looking forward to sharing another Voluntaryist development with you next month!
In liberty,
-J ( :
P.S. I’ve been trying to up my review count for Voluntaryist on Amazon Kindle. If you have some credits and would be willing to give an official review, I would greatly appreciate it!
I have some exciting news for you – Christmas just came early!
The digital release of Voluntaryist Origins VI has been sent to the e-mail you used on the Origins VI campaign if you backed it.
The download link will only work for a week’s time, so don’t delay in getting your EARLY digital download of Issue 6!
We’re still diligently working on the remasters and additional art pieces, so stay tuned for further details in the coming year as we finish Origins I and II and print out your comic perks.
And, speaking of Christmas, if you’re looking for a great gift for that liberty-loving friend or family member, Libertarian Country is the place to shop!
Libertarian Country is an ad sponsor of Origins VI and, in thanks to you, the backers, for supporting this comic issue, they are offering you an additional 10 percent off with their discount code:
COMIC
They have t-shirts, hats, hoodies, stickers, canvas prints, posters, and mugs!
Their wide variety of liberty-oriented merch is sure to bring a smile on Christmas!
So go give them a look and see what you can pick up with our special Voluntaryist discount code over at:
I have all good news to share as we have fully completed the colors and lettering for the Origins VI standalone issue and all final advertisement placements have come in.
That said, we are still diligently working on the rest of the project goals, from remastering Origins I and II to the additional art pieces that come with perk packages.
On that note of additional art pieces, one of the artists for those pieces is Aimée McLernon.
Aimée McLernon is an incredibly talented, multi-media artist and graphic designer whose professionalism and unique style places her as one of my favorite artists of all time.
She also happens to be one of the ad sponsors of this issue and, with that, is offering her creative talents for your illustration needs, from comic art to graphic design, to even 2D animation!
So, if you’re looking for someone to help you create a logo, put together a beautiful flier, or conceptualize a character for your own comic project, give her services a look.
She comes personally recommended as I can attest to her skills and professionalism from my own work with her on Voluntaryist.
And see for yourself her beautiful portfolio. Plus, she also has her own comic book series you can scope out called Reality Hackers – a psychological thriller of the cyberpunk genre.
Looking forward to updating you next month on the latest Voluntaryist Origins progress!
In liberty,
-J ( :
P.S.
Our ANTISTATE music video campaign ends TONIGHT, Saturday, Oct. 1st! If you’ve ever wanted to see your name in the credits of an AWESOME music video, or be an executive producer to one, make sure to head on over and check out those perks so we can make this music video the best one yet!
I have some exciting news! As of today, June 2nd, the first STRETCH GOAL has been UNLOCKED!
Wooohoo!
What this means is that ALL print comic tier and higher backers will now receive a BONUS character sheet art print in addition to all their other perk goodies and the bonus sticker for hitting goal.
On top of that, I will be creating a variant cover for Origins V.
Those who got the 1-6 perk set will receive an Origins V issue with the new cover!
If you are still sitting on the fence with a lower perk tier, now’s the time to upgrade to the print copy because you are guaranteed BOTH the bonus sticker AND the bonus character art sheet!
There’s still plenty of time for us to move on up too and unlock the other listed stretch goals, so be sure to share the campaign to your social media so that more goodies can be released as we go further in the campaign.
On a separate note, both Pho and I will be going on more interviews and hosting more streams to promote the comic series coming up.
One of the interviews on the #comicsgate track will be with the Critical Blast Podcast on Wednesday, June 8th, at 8 p.m. Eastern.
While you may have come to know me for my fictional Voluntaryist comic book story, I finally decided to make my first non-fiction book in line with the Voluntaryist universe.
It’s the culmination of 15 years of activism and study within the libertarian-Voluntaryist spectrum.
It’s NOT a history book.
It’s NOT a summary of other’s works.
It’s not a bunch of pull-quotes from past thinkers.
This is my unifying the fields of property rights and consent ethics theories into a universal philosophy that anyone can readily relate to and defend.
By the nature of the work, it will be challenging in many ways because it introduces a new basis by which to framework WHY one would want to uphold property rights and consent ethics.
You’ll be surprised, intrigued, and provoked to deeper investigation in the process.
But, unlike many other libertarian works, I’ve distilled the concepts into the minimum description needed to get people to understand the basics and their applications.
That makes it accessible for anyone, whether you’re a seasoned Misesian or are new to Voluntaryist thought.
No matter what, I hope you enjoy the ride and that it at least sharpens your thinking in the process.
Cheers to your kind support, from helping me refine my thoughts in conversation, to getting your own edition for the liberty bookshelf!
The Origins V comic came in a bit earlier than expected with the delays over at the printer, as you can see here:
They are out, in my hands, and looking AMAZING!
I will be working on fulfillment over the next month.
I am still waiting on one final stretch goal art piece to be finished so I can add it to your perk packages, but once that is in, they should be out to you shortly.
If all goes well, Christmas should come early for Voluntaryist Origins V backers!
If you are moving from your listed address by December, please do update your address with me through the Indiegogo dashboard or by contacting me with your perk information from Indiegogo at mr.voluntary(at)gmail.com
I want to make sure everyone gets what they ordered!
Thank you again as always for your generous support.
I had placed my order for Origins V on September 30th:
And was crossing my fingers that all of the government malfeaseance wouldn’t have an impact…
But sadly (and predictably), all of the state tyranny has had a cumulative effect on supply chains and shipments.
That said, I have worked with Ka-Blam for 10 years because they are one of the largest comic printers in the world and are reliable for getting the final product to completion.
So I’m not worried at all about the comic’s eventual printing…just sad that it will take a little longer than expected.
I will keep you updated on when they finally get to my order and let you know when I think the comics will be out to you by.
If will you end up moving by the time of the projected shipment, please do reach out to me through the Indiegogo dashboard and let me know your updated address, or email me at mr.voluntary(at)gmail(dot)com with your order information and I will make sure your package goes to your updated address.
And get yourself a copy of the latest Voluntaryist issue pre-order.
There are plenty of great perks this time around, from a new game card to a patch, so be sure to take a look at what cool collectibles you’d like to get this time.
Thank you so much again for your past support. I hope you’re as excited as I am to continue the Origins story.
I am ecstatic to announce that the digital version of Voluntaryist Origins III is finally complete! Woohoo!
First page sneak peek preview:
Please be sure to check the e-mail you used for this campaign for a message from me with the digital download link inside. I think you’re really going to be impressed!
With the digital of Origins III complete, I ordered the print copy of the comics which are being shipped to me to combine with all the other perk goodies and bonus items you’re getting. I’m thrilled to be able to put your perk packages together and am looking forward to shipping each one of your perks out.
The comics should be shipping to you by March 2020. I will be making an announcement a few weeks before shipping, reminding everyone to update their mailing address if anything has changed since you placed your perk order. If you know that you’ll have a new address, please feel free to go ahead and update it right away if you know what it will be.
ALSO! I want to make ANOTHER exciting announcement:
Voluntaryist – The Comic Series will now be on SubscribeStar!
SubscribeStar is a platform like Patreon that allows for ongoing support of creators with special behind-the-scenes access and perks for support.
What this means is that, for future comic production, I will be continuing the Voluntaryist story on a rolling basis with new pages coming out each month instead of just doing a campaign once per year.
I will still be using Indiegogo to do special comic fulfillment fundraisers/events, but the ongoing support will come through SubscribeStar and you will be able to see the comic production as pencils, inks, letters, and colors come through.
What I hope to see is that, with your support, the Voluntaryist comic adventure can be something you get to look forward to each month and, eventually, each week.
I am ecstatic to announce that Indiegogo FINALLY processed my campaign and sent out the funds. It was a joy to wake up to and see that we could actually get on to making the comic now.
This morning I sent out the script, character details, and specs to our new comic production team, Cornerstone Creative Studios. Jesse Hansen, the art team lead, has been wonderfully helpful in ensuring that this will be a smooth production process. He’s excited to be working on this title and to bring the quality to the next level.
I will update you every few weeks with teasers/sneak peeks as the pencils, inks, colors, and letters come through.
Thank you again for your patience in waiting on this unusual delay with Indiegogo’s review process.
Let’s make this Voluntaryist issue the best one yet!
