If you’re a U.S. backer, you should see your perk within 1-2 weeks. International backers should see theirs within 2-4 weeks.
If you do not receive anything by Jan. 2, 2022, please contact me through the Indiegogo dashboard or via email at mr.voluntary(at)gmail(dot)com so I can check on your perk and replace it if it ended up getting lost in the mail.
If you want to pick up any past print issues, you can over on Indyplanet here:
Origins V will be available for print copy purchase on Indyplanet soon, but the rest of the past issues are up and ready for selection. And, if you’re looking for something special to give that liberty-loving family member or friend this Christmas, check out the Voluntaryist Store over at:
There’s all kinds of liberty goodies- from shirts, to stickers, to hats, and buttons- all with a liberty theme!
And, MOST IMPORTANTLY, please remember to check out, share, and support the next Voluntaryist campaign for Origins VI when it launches, tentatively, summer, 2022.
We will not only be completing the Origins arc with issue VI, but also hope to remake Origins I and II to bring the series into conformity with the later artist’s designs, and, put ALL the Voluntaryist Origins comics into a single trade paperback compendium.
It will be an essential collectible for any Voluntaryist fan. Thank you so much for believing in me and the Voluntaryist comic book series. I could not have accomplished this feat without your generous support over the years.
The Origins V comic came in a bit earlier than expected with the delays over at the printer, as you can see here:
They are out, in my hands, and looking AMAZING!
I will be working on fulfillment over the next month.
I am still waiting on one final stretch goal art piece to be finished so I can add it to your perk packages, but once that is in, they should be out to you shortly.
If all goes well, Christmas should come early for Voluntaryist Origins V backers!
If you are moving from your listed address by December, please do update your address with me through the Indiegogo dashboard or by contacting me with your perk information from Indiegogo at mr.voluntary(at)gmail.com
I want to make sure everyone gets what they ordered!
Thank you again as always for your generous support.
I had placed my order for Origins V on September 30th:
And was crossing my fingers that all of the government malfeaseance wouldn’t have an impact…
But sadly (and predictably), all of the state tyranny has had a cumulative effect on supply chains and shipments.
That said, I have worked with Ka-Blam for 10 years because they are one of the largest comic printers in the world and are reliable for getting the final product to completion.
So I’m not worried at all about the comic’s eventual printing…just sad that it will take a little longer than expected.
I will keep you updated on when they finally get to my order and let you know when I think the comics will be out to you by.
If will you end up moving by the time of the projected shipment, please do reach out to me through the Indiegogo dashboard and let me know your updated address, or email me at mr.voluntary(at)gmail(dot)com with your order information and I will make sure your package goes to your updated address.
The Voluntaryist Origins V comic book campaign is a 100%-funded success!
And we managed to not just unlock 1, but 2 STRETCH GOAL PERKS!
Everyone who supported at the print comic perk tier or higher will also be receiving an Agora character print and a NEW Voluntaryist team art print.
So thank YOU for your help in getting us to an AMAZING finish.
What’s next now that the campaign is officially closed?
The pencils for Origins V need to be wrapped first. I had been working on the pencils for a while, so we’re almost finished with all 24 pages and should be done with those in the next few weeks.
After penciling completes, the pages then go to the inker and colorist. That process should take 30-60 days depending on how booked those artists are.
When the colors and inks finish, they then will come back to me for lettering. I will probably be able to finish letters within a week of colors receipt.
Once the letters are done, it’s off to printing at Ka-Blam. Depending on how booked Ka-Blam is with conventions, the print and return process can take 40-80 days.
Once I get the print comics, I will then pack them in your perk mailers with your ordered extras/bonuses and ship them off to you!
I will be updating on the comic’s progress on Indiegogo and at http://volcomic.com, so you can keep up with the latest developments and see what stage the comic is at as we work on it.
If you end up needing to change your address because you will be moving in the next 3-4 months, you can always reach out through the Indiegogo dashboard or with an email to mr.voluntary (at) gmail (dot) com and I can update your order’s address to ensure your package gets to you.
I want to make sure that everyone gets what they ordered.
And, on that note of orders, there is an occasional accident where someone picks “Donation” instead of “Perk” on the campaign. You can tell if you did this because you did not enter in your address information.
If you accidentally selected “donation” instead of a perk, please reach out so I can notate what tier you qualify for and get your shipping remainder. I want to make sure you get your all of your goodies so you don’t miss out when the print comics arrive!
Thank you again, everyone, for your generous support of this latest Voluntaryist issue.
I am especially thrilled to be where we’re at with this series because the next issue (Origins VI) will be the last issue in the Origins arc!
It feels special to be so close to completing an entire Voluntaryist arc for the first time.
You’re forever a part of that history now.
Looking forward to updating you soon on the next stage.

Hello, Voluntaryist fans!Production on the comic is moving along smoothly and within schedule.
I am finishing up the last page’s pencils, then I have a batch of pages going in for inks and colors, to be followed by my lettering. I believe the comic should be wrapped within 2 months max, and then it will go to print.
I have all the additional special perks already produced and readied for shipment.
With that in mind – a quick reminder to advertisers again – please make sure you have your finished advertisement pages to me by the end of February.
On that note – here is a another sneak peek of the comic:
I can wiggle a little more time if absolutely needed past that, but I would like to get the comic wrapped and out by the end of Spring at the latest so that we can move on to planning for the next issue. On that note – here is a another sneak peek of the comic:
ALSO! Pho and I have released a new product line, starting with some COOL AR and AK patches and a No Step On Snek Chibi keychain.
Your perks for the Origins III campaign have been officially shipped out! WOOHOO!

Most of you state-side should see them in your mailbox within 1-2 weeks tops. International backers should see their perk packs within 3-4 weeks.
If you do not see your perk package within a month, please don’t hesitate to contact me for tracking.
When you get your packages, I would love it if you shared a celebratory post with your Voluntaryist goodies! Feel free to tag me at http://facebook.com/volcomics as I’d love to share it and celebrate with you!
If you didn’t get a physical copy of the comic, but would like to get one, you now can!
Print-on-demand copies of Origins III (and the other issues) are available at IndyPlanet.
I will be taking a break from Indiegogo for a little while to drum up support for Voluntaryist through SubscribeStar. Eventually though, I will return to Indiegogo when we’re ready to put together print copies of the rest of the Origins story.
Thank you so much, everyone, for believing in me and the Voluntaryist message. Your commitment has helped bring the Voluntaryist comic to a new level of accessibility and quality that will continue from here on out.
You’re the real heroes of this adventure!
Looking forward to accomplishing more great things with you in 2020.

P.S. I forgot to put a link to Actual Anarchy in my “Thank You!” on the advertisers update, so I want to give them an extra note of thanks for their continued support.
Please give them a “Like” and “Share” with their Podcast and Website links here:
Actual Anarchy Podcast Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/140788079791347/
It’s great to see so many people engaging culture topics from a liberty-oriented angle. Thank you, Actual Anarchy, for helping to spread the message of Voluntaryism for a peaceful, more prosperous future!
I am ecstatic to announce that Indiegogo FINALLY processed my campaign and sent out the funds. It was a joy to wake up to and see that we could actually get on to making the comic now.
This morning I sent out the script, character details, and specs to our new comic production team, Cornerstone Creative Studios. Jesse Hansen, the art team lead, has been wonderfully helpful in ensuring that this will be a smooth production process. He’s excited to be working on this title and to bring the quality to the next level.
I will update you every few weeks with teasers/sneak peeks as the pencils, inks, colors, and letters come through.
Thank you again for your patience in waiting on this unusual delay with Indiegogo’s review process.
Let’s make this Voluntaryist issue the best one yet!
I am excited to announce that the Voluntaryist Origins III Indiegogo Campaign has ended on unprecedented heights!
Thanks to you, we had 124 backers raising a total of $6,324!
This means that Voluntarist Origins III has officially beaten all past records in support!
To thank you for this, I am going to give all physical comic backers the third stretch goal in addition to the two we unlocked! So now you have not one, not two, butTHREE BONUS ITEMS!
It’s my small way of saying, “Thank you!” for being so generous with your time, link shares, and contributions.
In addition to that extra perk, I can also announce that we will be able to produce a FULL-LENGTH ISSUE with a solid 24 standard pages! You can pat yourselves on the back for going above-and-beyond to help make this comic the best yet!
With the campaign officially closed, I will now be taking the next steps to get production underway.
Once the funds release to me, I will be immediately working with our new creative team at Cornerstone Creative Studios, handing over the script and character descriptors so that they can get to work on the initial pencils and inks.
I will also begin working on non-comic perk orders. Those who ordered a perk that does not involve a print comic will get your goodies a little sooner than the projected delivery date.
Those who ordered the physical comic will receive their perks together with the other extras that come with the order.
My expected delivery date is March 2020. I hope to get it to you sooner, but I want to make sure that I leave enough time in case of any unexpected delays from third parties in the production process.
I will be updating you when I send out the non-comic perks and will be sharing teasers here on Indiegogo, Facebook, Minds, and the main Website as production comes along.
As always, if you have any thoughts or questions, you can reach me at mr.voluntary[at]gmail[dot]com.
I will be reaching out a few weeks before shipment through the campaign dashboard to make sure that everyone has provided their most up-to-date address. I want to ensure everyone gets what they ordered.
I’m humbled by how much care and engagement you’ve given Origins III and I cannot wait to bring a smile to your face with a perk package you’ll be proud to show off!
Thank you for believing in me and this comic.
I’m looking forward to another successful production process as we continue to design the canon origins story for Voluntaryist!
Today is the wonderful day I get to tell you that your comics have gone out for shipment! Virtually all perks have now been mailed, so please keep your eyes out for them in the coming weeks. Most of you will likely see your comic come to you within the next week or two. International orders, within the next 3-4 weeks max.
I am grateful to you, the Voluntaryist fans, for being a part of this MONUMENTAL achievement in producing the first full-length Voluntaryist comic issue with 24 pages. It’s humbling that, after 6 years of hard work in prototyping, we now have a canon Voluntaryist line that is being continued chronologically here on out.
I appreciate every person here who supported with perks and shares of the campaign, and I look forward to bringing you a whole new level of quality and experience with this next upcoming comic campaign in Indiegogo.
In preparation for improving the process so the expectations are reasonable, I have adjusted the time framing for the next campaign delivery to ensure that we have enough time to deal with unforeseen delays from third parties. I also am working with a new art group which is going to bring a new level of artistic quality to the comic, and I think you’ll be impressed when you see the new cover in full with the Origins III campaign.
Thank you so much again for your patience in the adjusted delivery timeline for Voluntaryist Origins II! I appreciate your kindness and consideration as we have been working through the final stages of production.
I wanted to give you the latest update from our publishing group, Short Fuse Media, on the status of the comic. I have been told that the letters will be completed this week and that the art director will make any adjustments to the final letters as he goes through the other edits that were needed.
If things go as planned, the digital comic should be out to you by January 2019, and I will be promptly printing and shipping perks thereafter.
To celebrate this update, I am also including two sneak peeks – a colored panel and a colored card element.
I hope you and yours have a lovely holiday and a happy new year!
Let’s make 2019 the year of growth for liberty culture together!
Thank you again for your patience as I know we are behind our original estimated delivery date. Rest assured, I am just as excited as you are to finish the comic and get it into your (and my) hands! The colors and letters are still being worked on and I am ensuring that utmost quality control is being exercised based on the great feedback I received on Origins I. I do not want to give you anything that you would not feel good showing off on a display case or to your friends! As always, I seek to continue pushing forward the quality on the comic production, and hope to continue that tradition with Origins II.
On that note, I have another sneak peek for you, this time, a sneak peek of artwork for the card game prototype! This comic campaign has many goodies coming along with it, so there will be quite a few things to unpack when you receive your perks!
Looking forward to sharing the next update with you revealing a color sneak peek.
I just wanted to take a moment to update you on the production process. I just got word that inked pages have started to get colors and lettering worked on, so the artwork is underway toward completion.
I also have a special teaser announcement: an action figure line is being developed for mass scale, so there will be an opportunity to get a posable Voluntaryist figure with unmatched quality – coming soon!
You can look at the AMAZING work our producer, Short Fuse Media Group, has put into the figure design in this mock-up preview below:
I am excited to share with you sneak peek No. 3 for Voluntaryist Origins II!
Everything is looking good so far with quality control on the comic production.
However, we do have a comic production push-back due to our primary artist getting sick for several weeks, so our estimated delivery date is going to likely be after October as we are still working on page completion.
There is nothing to worry about though! Our publishing group, Short Fuse Media Group, LLC, has a strong reputation they stand by: “WE ALWAYS DELIVER!” We are confident in their ability to deliver the final art as they have in the past and, as always, we will be sure that all perks are delivered directly to you.
I am also preparing the final touches on the costume for Voluncap so that The Pholosopher can do her cosplay shoot. She’s especially excited as it also going to be her Halloween costume this year.
Please stay tuned here and at http://www.volcomic.com as I will continue to post teasers and updates as the colors and letters come through so you can see the production progress.
Looking forward to getting this issue into your hands as soon as possible!
This next issue continues the story of how Jack Lloyd comes to be Voluntaryist as government agents confront Jack, questioning him about his newfound powers.
If you would, please share the campaign link to your social media platforms on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, and Steemit to help spread the word as we bring the message of liberty to the comic world.
Thank you again for your support in helping to make the Voluntaryist comic series a success! We could not have come this far without you and your dedicated fandom!
