Hello Voluncap One Shot backers!
We made it to the finish line!
Thanks to your support, we reached a legendary 69% of our goal and had an overall relatively successful campaign considering the hurdles we faced with the new year.
That said, we want to let you know that even though we did not reach our goal, you’re going to be getting a fully finished first issue!
We bootstrapped the rest on this project because we wanted to pay it forward from the generosity we had on our Voluntaryist Origins and Suit Saga campaigns.
Our hope is that having a finished Voluncap One Shot issue will inspire people to share it and promote it so we can build up a fanbase for the series and continue the excellent work we’ve done.
And we’re confident in that!
We promise you that, once you turn the first page, you’ll be wowed and remember what it’s like to have great artwork and great content in an entertainment world that continues to pass off the same old repackaged stories using superficial swaps.
So, what is next?
Indiegogo is going to disburse the funds to us within 15 business days.
Once we receive that, we’ll move forward on finalizing any last needed items.
We have most everything complete already due to our working on it in advance, but we still will need to finalize the advertiser art page placements and order the print copies of the comics.
While this takes place, we’ll update you on our progress and let you know where we are at.
Our campaign estimated delivery is December, 2025, but given that we’ve already completed most of the work, you’ll be receiving your perks FAR in advance of that. (Fingers crossed – within the next few months.)
