We just finished up all 24 penciled pages for Voluntaryist Origins V and have now moved onto the inking and coloring process.
Everything is going well so far and is on-track for success.
I’ve also been working on the perk designs and have even finished and printed the latest Voluntaryist game card. The new card for Bastiat is quite the beaut! ( ;

And we managed to not just unlock 1, but 2 STRETCH GOAL PERKS!

What’s next now that the campaign is officially closed?
The pencils for Origins V need to be wrapped first. I had been working on the pencils for a while, so we’re almost finished with all 24 pages and should be done with those in the next few weeks.
After penciling completes, the pages then go to the inker and colorist. That process should take 30-60 days depending on how booked those artists are.
When the colors and inks finish, they then will come back to me for lettering. I will probably be able to finish letters within a week of colors receipt.
Once the letters are done, it’s off to printing at Ka-Blam. Depending on how booked Ka-Blam is with conventions, the print and return process can take 40-80 days.
Once I get the print comics, I will then pack them in your perk mailers with your ordered extras/bonuses and ship them off to you!
I will be updating on the comic’s progress on Indiegogo and at http://volcomic.com, so you can keep up with the latest developments and see what stage the comic is at as we work on it.
If you end up needing to change your address because you will be moving in the next 3-4 months, you can always reach out through the Indiegogo dashboard or with an email to mr.voluntary (at) gmail (dot) com and I can update your order’s address to ensure your package gets to you.
I want to make sure that everyone gets what they ordered.

The Voluntaryist Origins IV comic campaign closed at an AMAZING $5,755! We unlocked the first stretch goal, so all backers at the print comic level and higher will be receiving an extra special Voluntaryist team art print.
ALSO! To thank you for going above-and-beyond, I will be adding 4 more pages to the promised page count, making the issue a full-length 24 pages. It will be awesome!
As for next steps, Indiegogo should release the funds to me within two weeks, if not sooner. I will then begin working on fulfilling perks as elements come to completion.
I had already been working on the comic, so I should get the comic out to you much sooner than anticipated, hopefully Spring 2021.
Which is a reminder to those who purchased advertisements – please have your completed advertisement content to me by or before February 1st, 2021. I will be contacting you to follow up on the advertisement layouts and helping you with any questions you may have.

I am excited to announce that the Voluntaryist Origins III Indiegogo Campaign has ended on unprecedented heights!
Thanks to you, we had 124 backers raising a total of $6,324!
This means that Voluntarist Origins III has officially beaten all past records in support!
To thank you for this, I am going to give all physical comic backers the third stretch goal in addition to the two we unlocked! So now you have not one, not two, butTHREE BONUS ITEMS!
It’s my small way of saying, “Thank you!” for being so generous with your time, link shares, and contributions.
In addition to that extra perk, I can also announce that we will be able to produce a FULL-LENGTH ISSUE with a solid 24 standard pages! You can pat yourselves on the back for going above-and-beyond to help make this comic the best yet!
With the campaign officially closed, I will now be taking the next steps to get production underway.
Once the funds release to me, I will be immediately working with our new creative team at Cornerstone Creative Studios, handing over the script and character descriptors so that they can get to work on the initial pencils and inks.
I will also begin working on non-comic perk orders. Those who ordered a perk that does not involve a print comic will get your goodies a little sooner than the projected delivery date.
Those who ordered the physical comic will receive their perks together with the other extras that come with the order.
My expected delivery date is March 2020. I hope to get it to you sooner, but I want to make sure that I leave enough time in case of any unexpected delays from third parties in the production process.

Today is the wonderful day I get to tell you that your comics have gone out for shipment! Virtually all perks have now been mailed, so please keep your eyes out for them in the coming weeks. Most of you will likely see your comic come to you within the next week or two. International orders, within the next 3-4 weeks max.
I am grateful to you, the Voluntaryist fans, for being a part of this MONUMENTAL achievement in producing the first full-length Voluntaryist comic issue with 24 pages. It’s humbling that, after 6 years of hard work in prototyping, we now have a canon Voluntaryist line that is being continued chronologically here on out.

Thank you so much, everyone, for your extraordinary patience and kind support as I know it was frustrating to have to wait longer than expected for our estimated delivery.
Now that the digital process has come to a close, I have ordered the physical copies of the comic and game cards. The turnaround time for that depends on how fast Ka-Blam can get the comics to me, which is usually contingent on convention traffic. Fortunately, this isn’t convention season, so I expect a little faster processing time, though they gave me a “by-or-before March 1st.”
Once I do get the printed comics, I will update everyone and ask that anyone who has changed addresses to let me know of your new address so I can be sure to get your perks to you.
I’m looking forward to personally compiling and signing off on each of your perk packages, and cannot wait for you to show off the cool extras I’m throwing in.

I am ecstatic to announce that Voluntaryist Origins II closed at a record-breaking $5,544 supported by 119 backers, making this issue the highest funded, most received, longest, and most successful Voluntaryist comic to date! Now that the campaign is closed, the chain of production is beginning, and I will keep you in the loop with updates and teasers along the way.
Once Indiegogo releases the funds to me within 1-2 weeks, I will be working with our publishing group, Short Fuse Media, to format the layout for production. The comic will then go into a pencils review process over the course of 1-2 months, with inks, colors, and lettering to follow over the next 1-2 months.
Those who ordered physical, non-comic perks will receive those first. If you ordered a physical comic perk, you will receive whatever you ordered as a bundle once the comic production is complete.
