Silver Circle D.C. Showing Recap

I finally had a chance to see the Silver Circle movie. Having read the graphic novel first, I can say it follows along to the “T,” so there are no major plot surprises; but it is still worth watching because the visuals are more intricate than the novel portrayal. While the CGI isn’t something comparable to a Marvel or D.C. blockbuster, I was enthused with the quality of the audio effects. The music and voice-overs drew me and suspended my disbelief within 5 minutes of watching.

It was especially great to meet Pasha Roberts and to see how giddy he was about the project. His enthusiasm for liberty was paralleled by the audience, who laughed frequently at knocks on the Federal Reserve.

All-in-all, it was encouraging to see a liberty-oriented film that used entertainment to sell the principles of non-aggression, free markets, and sound money. I can only hope to join in the ranks of liberty filmmakers by one day producing a Voluntaryist blockbuster!

Silver Circle Movie Premiere in D.C.

Hello friends and fans!

Yours truly will be attending the Silver Circle Movie premiere in the D.C. area. Check out the Facebook event HERE. The showing is technically not in D.C. though – it’s taking place at the Regal Ballston Common 12 in Arlington, Virginia (close enough).

Silver Circle Movie D.C.

I (J) will be in attendance, possibly with some comic copies to sign! I am going to the 7:00 p.m. Friday night showing on the 12th as that will be when the director does the Q&A.

Looking forward to seeing this awesome, sound-money movie!
