I just wanted to update you on the progress of the campaign as we have now hit the halfway point with 30 more days to go.
So far, we have raised 55% of goal, sitting at $2,788 raised – which is fantastic progress!

An aside, I managed to see both Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame this weekend. No spoilers – but I do want to note that both movies left me with a reminder of why I am doing what I am with Voluntaryist.
While action sequences and special effects improve, character dialogue and philosophical thinking continue to grow thin, leaving much to be desired.
In supporting this series, you’re helping to bring about a new level of intellectual intrigue and an incredible, contemporary discourse on what it means to be truly free.

I wanted to give you a quick update on what’s taking place with comic production.
I have received the comic game cards in hand and now am just waiting on the print copies of the comic.
I was told by Ka-Blam that they are arranging my comic and that it should go out for print soon!
Once that is finished, the comics will then come to me and I will make a last call for updating addresses before shipping them out. If you want to update your address now, please do so by e-mailing me at mr.voluntary(at)gmail(dot)com.

I don’t have anything new yet on my end as I am still waiting on final edit delivery from Short Fuse Media (the production team), but I wanted to keep you up-to-date that everything otherwise appears to be moving along.

I wanted to give you the latest update from our publishing group, Short Fuse Media, on the status of the comic. I have been told that the letters will be completed this week and that the art director will make any adjustments to the final letters as he goes through the other edits that were needed.
If things go as planned, the digital comic should be out to you by January 2019, and I will be promptly printing and shipping perks thereafter.
To celebrate this update, I am also including two sneak peeks – a colored panel and a colored card element.

I have been told by Short Fuse that they are nearing completion with colors and I should be getting them in full later this week.

I am ecstatic to announce that Voluntaryist Origins II closed at a record-breaking $5,544 supported by 119 backers, making this issue the highest funded, most received, longest, and most successful Voluntaryist comic to date! Thank you for your generous time and support in not only backing the campaign, but also being a true fan by continually sharing the campaign promo images and links to new faces online!
Now that the campaign is closed, the chain of production is beginning, and I will keep you in the loop with updates and teasers along the way.
Once Indiegogo releases the funds to me within 1-2 weeks, I will be working with our publishing group, Short Fuse Media, to format the layout for production. The comic will then go into a pencils review process over the course of 1-2 months, with inks, colors, and lettering to follow over the next 1-2 months.
Those who ordered physical, non-comic perks will receive those first. If you ordered a physical comic perk, you will receive whatever you ordered as a bundle once the comic production is complete. I am excited to announce the Indiegogo supporter early digital release of Voluntaryist Origins! I know we’re a little behind schedule, but I think it was worth the wait as I added on an extra page to production, making this a full-length comic book with 24 interior comic art pages.

This is the first time the Voluntaryist story is being presented from the beginning of the canon, with the chronology to follow from here on out in future issues.
The physical perks are being ordered now and the digital files are being sent off to the printer. The printer will then be shipping the comic books to me and then I will be shipping out the physical comics to those who ordered them.
Those who wish to pick up a physical copy outside of the campaign will be able to do so at Indyplanet.com. I will share the link on the Indiegogo.com campaign when available.

Thought I’d let you know that I have the second issue written up and will be working to promote the comic some more so we can get rolling – this time, with even more action, adventure, and Voluntaryism!

I am ecstatic to announce that the Voluntaryist comic is finally produced! The early-release has already been sent to those who contributed to the campaign. In a few weeks, a link will be posted here so that anyone can download the comic, share and enjoy it!
I am thankful the comic came out so well thanks to Rob Dumo’s eye for detail. I couldn’t have gotten to this point without his help. Thank you for your patience as we had to rewrite the storyboard for a shorter space. I think it was a success!
In the meantime, I hope to get this comic circulated and promoted so we can begin looking at the next project – making a graphic novel of the back-story and/or working on a second issue. What we do will simply depend on far this message spreads and how well it is received by comic and liberty fans.
Just keep on trekking toward liberty and we’ll be right there alongside!
