Hello, Voluntaryist fans!
I just got word that Short Fuse Media Group, LLC. owner and director Sean Mack has gotten a batch of action figures for their new Indieverse Unlimited Action Figure Line. As you can see, Voluntaryist – The Comic Series is among them! So I am excited that they have been successful in their prototyping process so that we may offer you, in the near future, high-quality next-level Voluntaryist action figures! I am grateful to Sean for the opportunity to be a part of the process and look forward to more good things.
Thank you so much again for your patience in the adjusted delivery timeline for Voluntaryist Origins II! I appreciate your kindness and consideration as we have been working through the final stages of production.
I wanted to give you the latest update from our publishing group, Short Fuse Media, on the status of the comic. I have been told that the letters will be completed this week and that the art director will make any adjustments to the final letters as he goes through the other edits that were needed.
If things go as planned, the digital comic should be out to you by January 2019, and I will be promptly printing and shipping perks thereafter.
To celebrate this update, I am also including two sneak peeks – a colored panel and a colored card element.

I am ecstatic to announce that Voluntaryist Origins II closed at a record-breaking $5,544 supported by 119 backers, making this issue the highest funded, most received, longest, and most successful Voluntaryist comic to date! Thank you for your generous time and support in not only backing the campaign, but also being a true fan by continually sharing the campaign promo images and links to new faces online!
Now that the campaign is closed, the chain of production is beginning, and I will keep you in the loop with updates and teasers along the way.
Once Indiegogo releases the funds to me within 1-2 weeks, I will be working with our publishing group, Short Fuse Media, to format the layout for production. The comic will then go into a pencils review process over the course of 1-2 months, with inks, colors, and lettering to follow over the next 1-2 months.
Those who ordered physical, non-comic perks will receive those first. If you ordered a physical comic perk, you will receive whatever you ordered as a bundle once the comic production is complete. Make sure to check and ensure that your e-mail and shipping address are correct. If anything changes over time, you are able to update that information on Indiegogo by signing in to your order. I will send a campaign reminder 1 week before shipment to ensure that anyone who has moved can update their address before I send out physical comic perks.
If for any reason you made a mistake and forgot to select a perk, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I care about all supporters and want to make sure that no one made a mistake by not selecting a perk. So please double-check and make sure you selected a perk for your respective pledge, and send me a message if you didn’t select your perk by accident so I can update your order.

Below is another teaser for your delight! It is a draft ink layout with draft lettering. The comic is currently out getting professional colors and letters done. I think you’re going to go wild for the results!
A little sneak-peak of the work done by Rob Dumo & Adam Metcalfe. These cells introduce the Voluntaryist-side character, “Agora.” Agora is Brazilian woman who had been kidnapped and forced into sex slavery. She was hit by the cosmic radiation while captive and broke free, killing her captors in the process. Agora has enhanced healing and enhanced strength. She can also turn on an “angelic” state which permits flight and eye beams. When in the angelic state, she can forge an energy staff which acts as a powerful wave-weapon. With an enhanced 6th sense, she also has telepathy with animals.
Also, some really GREAT perks are available this round. We have Double Features with the comic, “Time Samplers” by Paranoid American and a Voluntaryist graphic novel by Zander Marz!
And, my favorite new perk – the opportunity to get a UNIQUE, LIMITED, VOLUNTARYIST ACTION FIGURE! That’s pretty sweet.

Yours truly will be attending the Silver Circle Movie premiere in the D.C. area. Check out the Facebook event HERE. The showing is technically not in D.C. though – it’s taking place at the Regal Ballston Common 12 in Arlington, Virginia (close enough).
I (J) will be in attendance, possibly with some comic copies to sign! I am going to the 7:00 p.m. Friday night showing on the 12th as that will be when the director does the Q&A.
