The effort to accept BTC is minimal. Go to http://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet and download wallet (I recommend Multibit or Electrum because they synchronize fast). Install it, publish receiving address from the wallet and that’s all! You can buy gold or silver with earned BTCs 😉
